My Appearance on Neil Cavuto Show on Fox News Channel
I just did the E Block on Neil Cavuto's show on Fox News. They asked me yesterday to come in and talk about how the Dems are ahead of the game in terms of blogging based on the piece I wrote for Washington Examiner back in October, When will the right recognize the cost of conceding Web 2.0?
Good to know that story still has legs. It was linked by Drudge back then and got a good deal of attention. In fact, it played some role in helping to fire up a dormant Media Advisory Board at The Heritgage Foundation of which I am now a member (our first board meeting is next month).
But you can read the Op-Ed if you want more about that. The real highlight of the show was the appearance of The Hooters Girls, in town to promote their 2007 calendar. When I was escorted into the Green Room, the Hooters Girls were in various states of undress, changing from their street clothes into their traditional t-shirts and organge short-shorts. I was offered a calendar but after considering that for a moment I concluded that my wife might not be terribly thrilled to see that pinned up in our kitchen in lieu of the PTA calendar currently adorning our refrigerator so I left it behind. Now fully attired, they did a quick live hit from the Green Room, waving at Neil.
I was sandwiched between my old pal (sorta) Tony Snow talking about the economy and Wes Clark being somewhat incoherent as to whether waiting too long to enter a presidential campaign is problematic (he should know). I tivo'd my appearance and will link it off the MBA in the News site later.
UPDATE: Here is the video - I added a brief clip of the Hooters Girls at the end, you can just see the top of my head, if you can manage to look past the girls.
